The Dracut Community Food Pantry is a local 501c(3) organization that provides short and long-term assistance to Dracut residents. We are located at 1934 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, MA 01826 (suite 12).
The pantry is operated by a Board of Directors who meet six times per year. The board and all the members volunteer their time. Volunteers provide assistance to shoppers, collecting food from the local food bank and donation drop off points, sorting food donations, stocking shelves and helping clients by bringing their food items to their vehicles.
The amount of food we offer is based upon the amount of food donations we collect from the community, food drives and additional food items that are purchased locally.
Message from the Board of Directors
Without the support of the many schools, business, organizations and volunteers, the Food Pantry would simply not exist. The dedication of our Board members and volunteers is another testament to our success.
In 2025, food drives provided 9,420 pounds of food for our clients! The total number of families served 1,256 which represents 4,331 individuals. Our volunteers logged over 5000 hours in keeping the pantry running and stocked!
All of this work is made possible through the ongoing of contributions and the efforts of a community with a history of taking careof its own.
We owe a special thank you to Representative Colleen Garry who obtained funding for the Food Pantry to offset our food and operation costs.
Gratefully.
